Polls
Proactively pulse, engage, and guide students by polling, and use their responses to stay ahead of their needs. Send a single question poll to their mobile app, to a specific student persona or to all students, with pre-configured automated actions for their positive, negative or neutral responses. Negative responses point to budding issues that can be nipped before they result in frustration or a retention issue.
Notifications
Send app notifications to instantly communicate to an individual student, group of students or all students. Notifications can be categorised under notification types for later reuse or reference. Create notifications, preview the way it looks on the mobile app for any last-minute changes, and send immediately or schedule for later delivery. Events
Manage the entire event lifecycle on or off campus - specify sponsors, sessions and speakers, choose attendee list, increase visibility for the event through campaigns, reminders, alerts and meeting content. Be it an Orientation event or a Language Prep Workshop e2s event platform will manage the ‘invitation-RSVP-registrations-feedback’ cycle and everything in-between. Meetings can be public or private and you may use manual or QR code-based registrations.
Communities
Students can create communities, public or private, for learning and leisure purposes such as ‘astronomy’ or ‘hiking’, invite other students to join, post text and video content, 'like' and write comments. Staff can view and block posts on reports of abuse. Gauge student engagement and participation levels via dashboards. Institutions, today, hardly have insights into student engagement when communities are created in social media, completely outside their purview.
Student Network
Students can build peer networks by connecting to other students with shared interests and experience. Send out ‘connect’ requests to other students and evaluate ‘connect’ requests received to either ‘accept’ or ‘decline’. Use filters to get a list of like-minded peers and use privacy settings to allow limited viewing of profile information. This is a powerful closed campus LinkedIn for students, and a great measure student engagement.
Mentoring
Mentoring, curricular or career related, is a big need for students. Students can register in the appropriate mentoring groups. Organise mentoring events and get a 360 real-time view of student engagement levels. Post updates to the group who can ‘like’ and comment. Mentees may download reading material and turn to secondary mentors or peers for quick support or guidance. Mentee progress and action items are tracked via mentor notes.
Achievement Badges
This is a significant student engagement feature to award students for their achievements, to create and nurture a competitive environment for pursuit and excellence in areas of individual student passion. Staff members can create ‘badges’ that can be automatically awarded based on pre-configured criteria or manually on a subjective basis. Badges awarded to a student can be viewed on their profile info on the mobile app or portal.
