Connecting students through mobile is overriding. Simply stated, the mobile era is here to stay, and mobile apps are an overwhelmingly important part of it.  Statistics show that almost all students between 17 and 25 years of age have smartphones, and when they need to check information or access content, they do so via a mobile app.<\/span><\/p>\n

Email Communication Becoming Less Effective<\/b><\/h2>\n

Students are accustomed to app notifications and instant chat messaging.  Emails are checked less frequently by today\u2019s students, jeopardizing an institution\u2019s ability to properly engage and communicate with them.  As mobile adoption has grown, the email channel is becoming less and less effective.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, it is imperative that institutions account for a mobile app strategy to effectively reach students.  Mobile notifications can provide a way for schools to ensure that their student messages are seen and read.<\/span><\/p>\n
